Hospitality consulting services

Built around your
day-to-day reality.

Assess the operation, document your standards, train your team, or prepare for your next location. Start with the challenge. We will help define the work.

01 / DOCUMENT THE WAY YOU WORK

Operations & SOPs

Discuss your project ↗

Replace inconsistent routines with clear, practical instructions tailored to your business.

  • Opening, closing, service, inventory, and cash-handling procedures
  • Manager checklists and clear responsibility assignments
  • Editable documents and an agreed review process

We define the workflows, depth, and number of procedures before quoting. Complete operations manuals are scoped separately.

02 / BUILD A CONFIDENT TEAM

Training manuals & programs

Discuss your project ↗

Make the first day clearer—and build consistency long after onboarding.

  • Role-specific training manual and onboarding schedule
  • Trainer guidance and competency checklists
  • Knowledge checks and a rollout session

Additional roles, locations, live training, and manager development are quoted separately.

04 / PREPARE FOR WHAT’S NEXT

Openings & franchise operations

Discuss your project ↗

Translate the way your concept works into a repeatable plan for the next location.

  • Opening milestones, staffing preparation, and vendor checklists
  • Brand standards and franchisee-facing operations manuals
  • Training programs, opening readiness reviews, and handoff tools

Franchise support covers operations and training materials. Franchise disclosure documents, franchise agreements, and legal compliance are handled by your franchise counsel.

05 / FIND YOUR STARTING POINT

Restaurant operations assessment

Discuss your project ↗

A focused assessment for owners who want a clearer picture before committing to a larger project.

  • Owner interview and review of available financial and operating data
  • Review of labor, purchasing, menu economics, and service practices
  • Written priorities, a practical action plan, and a results call

Assessment findings depend on the information available. Implementation is quoted separately; no specific savings or financial outcome is guaranteed.

06 / KEEP MOVING FORWARD

Hospitality management consulting

Discuss your project ↗

A regular working relationship for owners who want experienced perspective and accountability.

  • Working sessions focused on your current operational priorities
  • Review of agreed performance measures and next steps
  • Action tracking and email support within agreed response windows

The cadence and scope are agreed around your needs. Document production, on-site work, and implementation projects can be scoped separately.

Every engagement starts with a conversation. Deliverables, timelines, review points, and fees are agreed in a written proposal before work begins.

Before we get started

A few useful answers.

What if I’m not sure which service I need?

Start with a discovery call. We’ll discuss your priorities and whether a focused project or a Restaurant operations assessment is the best starting point.

Do you work outside restaurants?

Yes. Taste Craftsman supports hotels, catering companies, foodservice businesses, restaurant groups, and franchise organizations with operational, training, and growth needs. Hospitality is our primary focus.

Can you improve materials we already have?

Yes. We can review existing procedures, training materials, menus, and operating guides and agree on what to retain, improve, or rebuild.

Can we work together remotely?

Yes. Many documentation, strategy, and advisory projects can be delivered remotely. Where observation or hands-on work is useful, we can discuss an on-site scope and travel costs.

Will we receive editable documents?

Yes. SOP and training projects include editable final documents in the format agreed in your proposal, so your team can keep them current.
